Newday Media is looking for a talented and experienced Script Editor – the "soul" behind sharp scripts that transform initial ideas into high-quality corporate videos and TV commercials.
In this role, you're not just a writer, but a content creator for TV commercials, corporate films, viral videos, and other projects specifically for Newday Media's partner clients. You'll play a crucial role as a link between creative ideas and the actual production process, ensuring every frame is strategic and resonates with the audience.
Position & Title: Script Editor
Working hours: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (1.5 hour lunch break)
Work location: 80 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, Lang Ward, Hanoi
Job Description
- Responsible for developing ideas, building concepts, and providing content direction for media videos, TV commercials, corporate films, and branding videos.
- Write a detailed script for the video, including: dialogue content, voiceover, scene breakdown, mood and tone, visual direction, and storytelling.
- Collaborate with the Creative, Production, and other relevant departments to produce videos according to the established content direction.
- Supervising the post-production and editing process ensures the final product accurately conveys the brand message, is professional, and engaging.
- Propose creative ideas and new formats that align with media trends and viewer behavior.
- Participate in researching customer insights, market trends, and social media platforms to optimize video content effectiveness.
- Ensure the quality of content and images, and adhere to the project timeline.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager and the Board of Directors.
Report to: Head of Video Production
Experience required:
- I have 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Possesses creativity and a rich vocabulary.
Qualifications / Degrees
- Graduates with a university degree or higher from a school with a major in writing related to their field of study.
- Relevant professional certifications are required.
- Understanding culture, arts, literature, and the arts.
Skill: Using AI in script writing and creating script descriptions (Chatgpt, Gemini, etc.)

- Creative, meticulous, decisive, and quick to understand.

Income:
- Salary negotiable (10-15 million VND)
- Performance-based bonuses are awarded according to project KPIs. Payments are made every 6 months (ranging from 1 to 4 months' salary depending on the level of participation and contribution to the project).
