Established in 2008, the Hanoi Women Entrepreneurs Association (HNEW) was founded with the mission of connecting Hanoi's women entrepreneurs to share and support each other for the common goal of "Happiness, Respect, and Success," contributing to enhancing the capacity and competitiveness of women entrepreneurs in the era of integration.
Over 15 years of operation, HNEW has increasingly enhanced its reputation and affirmed the image of female entrepreneurs in the social community by maintaining strong growth, bringing many benefits to its members, and making many contributions to the community and society.
With the theme "Reaching New Heights" and the motto "Connecting Strengths – Innovating – Enhancing Reputation," the 4th Congress of the Hanoi Women Entrepreneurs Association (HNEW) for the 2023-2028 term, organized by Newday Media, was successfully held in Hanoi on October 4, 2023. The Congress was attended by nearly 300 delegates, including leaders from central and local ministries, departments, and agencies; international organizations; associations; women entrepreneurs nationwide; and a large number of HNEW members.
Inheriting and building upon the achievements of previous generations, and creating a solid foundation to help HNEW reach further, with a spirit of fairness and responsibility, the 4th Congress of the Hanoi Women Entrepreneurs Association for the 2023-2028 term elected 25 members to the Executive Board and 11 members to the Standing Committee, all of whom are dedicated, capable, and passionate female entrepreneurs who have been involved in the Association's activities for many years.
The Congress marked a new milestone in HNEW's 15-year journey of development, a path of continuous effort to elevate the position of female entrepreneurs in contributing to the development of the national economy and reaching out to the world.
Entering a new term promising innovation and success, the talented female entrepreneurs and leaders of HNEW are looking towards a sustainable future, continuing to affirm their position as a highly reputable and influential organization for women entrepreneurs, impacting the community and society both domestically and internationally.

OUTSTANDING FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS MEET WITH PRESIDENT VO VAN THUONG
Immediately after the congress, on October 5, 2023, CEO Le Hai Yen, along with other outstanding female entrepreneurs of the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs (VAWE), had an audience with President Vo Van Thuong at the Presidential Palace on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20), the founding anniversary of the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs (VAWE) (October 19), and Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13).
Whether in the business world or in everyday life, VAWE's female entrepreneurs consistently uphold, promote, and build the image of the modern Vietnamese woman, fulfilling her roles as a mother and wife in building a family, caring for and supporting the older generation, and raising the younger generation.
During the meeting, President Vo Van Thuong acknowledged the significant, sustained, and impressive contributions of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Association (VAWE) and Vietnamese women entrepreneurs to the country's great achievements. The event serves as a driving force for women entrepreneurs to continue spreading this spirit in their will and actions to VAWE member businesses; it is a place to nurture and encourage the aspirations of Vietnamese women and female entrepreneurs to achieve legitimate wealth; and it strongly inspires young people to strive for success and encourages them to pursue legitimate wealth.
