International Business Awards (IBA) This is the 21st time in 2024 that Newday Media has won an award in the "Arts, Entertainment & Community – Cultural Events" category. The awards ceremony will be held on October 11, 2024, in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The event that earned Newday Media recognition at IBA 2024 was the "The River Tells Stories" program, which opened the first Ho Chi Minh City River Festival in 2023. "The River Tells Stories" made a strong impression on the international judging panel thanks to its unique and creative approach to recreating the historical story of Saigon, attracting thousands of domestic and international viewers. This event not only affirmed Newday Media's talent in combining traditional art and digital technology but also promoted local tourism and economic development.
The 21st International Business Awards (IBA) 2024 was a fierce competition with participation from over 3,600 businesses from more than 60 countries and territories worldwide, including major brands such as UNICEF Thailand, DHL Express, IBM, Viettel Post, Decathlon, Mastercard, Samsung Electronics, Microsoft Corporation, Cisco, Ricoh North America, Audi Korea, etc. The judging process took place over three months (from May to August 2024) by more than 300 experts from various fields. Each entry was judged by at least five judges, and the entries with the highest average scores in each category were awarded Gold prizes.
The transparency and fairness of the judging process have made IBA one of the most prestigious awards in the field of international business. The judges are experts from leading businesses and reputable organizations with many years of industry experience. Therefore, IBA is not just an award, but also a global recognition of innovative and outstanding businesses.
With this victory, Newday Media has won a total of 05 Gold medals at international arenas. Previously, Newday Media won Gold at the Stevie Awards 2018 for the Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival, Stevie Awards 2020 for the Muong Lo Cultural and Tourism Festival, Gold Cup at the Event Marketing Awards 2023 and International Business Awards 2023 for the Muong Lo Cultural and Tourism Festival 2022.
