The closing ceremony of the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival 2024, themed "The Flow of Heritage," took place on the evening of November 30th at Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province, with approximately 5,000 delegates and tourists in attendance.
The event featured a grand "feast" of electronic folk music called "Í a Fest". The program was staged in an open space amidst majestic mountains, with the highlight being a large stage built on a lake.
This culmination showcases the elevating scope of the Ninh Binh Festival's activities, reflecting the intermingling, integration, transformation, and transmission of art forms that have become heritage to the public. The program is explosive and vibrant, combining folk music from the three regions of Vietnam with modern Western music elements such as rock and hip-hop.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, Tong Quang Thin, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024, affirmed: In recent days, Ninh Binh has truly been immersed in a vibrant and joyful atmosphere with the Festival, featuring a series of colorful and impressive cultural and artistic events, imbued with the spirit of heritage flow, along with nostalgia mixed with pride, moving forward from the glorious ancient capital heritage of the past.
Following the success of the two previous festivals, the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024, themed "The Flow of Heritage," continues to offer a new perspective and approach to history through the language of poetry, literature, music, and technology. It creates a vibrant tapestry of culture, heritage, and regions spanning the length of history, through the formation and development of the three ancient and modern capitals, with a focus on intangible cultural heritage from folk traditions to the royal court and from the royal court back to the folk traditions.
The resounding success of the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024 once again affirms Ninh Binh province's strong capacity and commitment to organizing major national and international cultural events. This realizes the goal of building Ninh Binh into a millennium heritage city, a creative city, a center for event organization and cultural industries; contributing to the transmission of traditional values, patriotism, national pride and self-respect to future generations; meeting the entertainment and artistic appreciation needs of the people and tourists; and contributing to promoting exchange, cooperation, tourism development, and creating momentum for socio-economic development.

The vibrant musical performances transport the audience to the cultural features, melodies, and folk songs of various regions across the country.
As the theme of the closing ceremony, "Í A Fest," suggested, the program took the audience through the cultural and artistic spaces of the three regions of Vietnam: North, Central, and South. Chapter 1 – "Í a" showcased the artistic essence of Northern Vietnam with works such as "Trống cơm" (Rice Drum), "Chờ chàng" (Waiting for the Man), "Cò lả" (Crane Dance), "Ngồi tựa mạn thuyền" (Sitting Leaning Against the Boat's Edge)...; Chapter II – "Inh lả" reflected the culture of the Northwest highlands with works like "Cướp vợ tục lệ người Mông" (Wife Kidnapping Customs of the Hmong People), "Inh lả ơi" (Oh, Inh lả!), "À lôi"...; Chapter 3 – "Hò ơ" featured works with the distinctive colors of Central and Southern Vietnam such as "Tình anh bán chiếu" (The Mat Seller's Love), "Lý ngựa ô" (The Black Horse Song)...
All the songs blend folk influences with electronic music, along with various contemporary genres such as rock and rap, combined with 3D mapping art, creating a vibrant, youthful atmosphere that attracts a large audience and tourists.
