Đại nhạc kịch bom tấn “Chuyến tàu huyền thoại” mãn nhãn và ngập tràn cảm xúc

Art program Dòng sông kể chuyện mùa 2 – “Chuyến tàu huyền thoại” khai mạc Lễ hội Sông nước TP Hồ Chí Minh lần 2 năm 2024 chính thức diễn ra tối 31/5 tại Cảng Sài Gòn. Chương trình do UBND TP.HCM chỉ đạo thực hiện, Sở Du lịch TP.HCM – Sở Văn hóa Thể thao TP.HCM tổ chức, Newday Media thực hiện, thu hút 10.000 người dân, du khách trong và ngoài nước tham dự trực tiếp và hàng triệu khán giả theo dõi trực tuyến trên các kênh truyền hình, mạng xã hội và truyền thông.

Nối tiếp thành công của “Dòng sông kể chuyện” mùa đầu tiên, mùa 2 chủ đề “Chuyến tàu huyền thoại” là vở đại nhạc kịch bom tấn đồ sộ do General Director Le Hai Yen cùng ê-kíp là những tên tuổi hàng đầu Việt Nam thực hiện, kết hợp hát, nhảy, múa, diễn xuất cùng các thủ pháp sân khấu hiện đại, tối tân, tái hiện và tôn vinh lịch sử hào hùng của sông Sài Gòn, của đất nước ta thông qua câu chuyện về những chuyến tàu. Hoành tráng, choáng ngợp, mãn nhãn, xúc động và trào dâng niềm tự hào, tự tôn dân tộc – đó là những cảm xúc chương trình mang tới cho khán giả xem trực tiếp cũng như qua màn ảnh nhỏ.

Trong khoảng thời gian gần 90 phút, “Chuyến tàu huyền thoại” đã kể câu chuyện lịch sử cận đại, diễn ra trên dòng sông Sài Gòn thông qua các chương: Hạ thủy, Cập bến, Ra khơi, Dậy sóng, Vươn xa. Chương trình do nữ đạo diễn Lê Hải Yến – “Người kể chuyện bằng trái tim” viết kịch bản và Tổng đạo diễn, đưa khán giả đi từ bất ngờ này đến bất ngờ khác. Trong đó, có nhiều màn trình diễn gây kinh ngạc, sửng sốt lần đầu tiên khán giả được chứng kiến. Và đúng như biệt danh được đặt là “Người kể chuyện bằng trái tim”, câu chuyện của Tổng đạo diễn Lê Hải Yến viết nên ở “Chuyến tàu huyền thoại” khởi nên bằng chính nhiệt huyết, tình yêu lịch sử, yêu thành phố trong trái tim chị, nên mỗi lát cắt, mỗi câu chuyện qua 90 phút trình diễn đều chạm đến trái tim khán giả, khắc sâu trong lòng mỗi người về lịch sử thăng trầm, hào hùng và những dấu ấn huyền thoại của sông Sài Gòn, của dân tộc.

The story begins with the narration of two characters: the grandfather (played by Meritorious Artist Mạnh Dung, the "old man from Southern Vietnam") and his grandson (played by young Gia Huy), symbolizing the continuity of generations. Under the moonlight, the two stroll across a bridge, gazing at the river. The grandson turns to his grandfather and asks questions about the river and the ships. By answering these questions, the grandfather recounts and guides his grandson, along with the audience, into the stories of the ships that have become part of history and legends of the nation.

Chương 1 – Hạ thủy, đã tái hiện quá trình đóng và hạ thủy những chiếc thuyền đầu tiên từ triều Nguyễn, đánh dấu sự khởi đầu của ngành đóng tàu tại Việt Nam. Chương 2 – Cập bến, mô tả cuộc bãi công của công nhân xưởng Ba Son năm 1925, do nhà cách mạng Tôn Đức Thắng lãnh đạo, phản đối sửa chữa tàu Jules Michelet của Pháp nhằm đàn áp cách mạng Trung Quốc, phản ánh tinh thần yêu nước và đấu tranh cho lý tưởng của người lao động Việt Nam. Chương 3 – Ra khơi là câu chuyện về chuyến tàu lớn nhất, chuyến tàu gắn với vận mệnh của cả dân tộc Việt Nam năm xưa đưa người thanh niên Nguyễn Tất Thành ra đi tìm đường cứu nước. Chương 4 – Dậy sóng, tái hiện các trận đánh trên sông của các chiến sĩ đặc công trong khu vực Rừng Sác thời kỳ chiến tranh, thể hiện sự kiên cường, mưu trí của quân và dân trong cuộc đấu tranh chống lại sự xâm lược. Chương 5 – Vươn xa là sự phát triển của Việt Nam trong kỷ nguyên mới với công nghệ hiện đại trong lĩnh vực vận tải biển, cho thấy sự vươn xa của thương hiệu và trí tuệ Việt ra toàn cầu.

The entire series is structured as a complete story, like a feature film spanning from the past to the present, about the "legend" of the indomitable and resilient struggle to defend the country, the construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnamese nation, skillfully and subtly told by General Director Le Hai Yen through the narrative of the ships. Through this, viewers not only see Ho Chi Minh City's glorious historical period, when it was on par with the world in building its first ships during the Nguyen Dynasty, but also witness the continuous struggles against foreign oppression on those ships. From this, they see President Ho Chi Minh's great journey to find a way to save the country, and the nation's fierce struggle for peace and independence, with countless sacrifices made. And today, building on the nation's strong will, Ho Chi Minh City in particular, and the country in general, are developing and reaching further with proud economic achievements.

This blockbuster musical combines modern, cutting-edge theatrical elements, offering both high artistic value and a deeper understanding of the history of Ho Chi Minh City and the country in an easily understandable, memorable, and emotionally moving way. Audiences are already familiar with historical stories intertwined with the nation's destiny; however, the way the program recreates these stories through narration, music, dance, and theatrical techniques is incredibly vivid, transporting viewers back to the past and allowing them to witness firsthand the nation's momentous historical events.

Many viewers were overwhelmed with pride and moved to tears. Attending the program, veteran Vo Duy Tan, a former commando in the Sac Forest, shared his thoughts, saying, “The ”Legendary Train“ program is incredibly valuable in reviving the heroic history, and it deeply moved me. The segment ”Rising Waves,“ about the Sac Forest commandos fighting valiantly against the enemy, reminded me of my fallen comrades. The program told a very good, truthful, and moving historical story,” veteran Vo Duy Tan expressed.

General director Le Hai Yen and her talented team, including stage director Pham Hoang Nam, music director Duc Tri, and choreographer Tan Loc, solved the "difficult problem" of bringing musical theater to a large, festival-style setting. The team utilized all theatrical techniques, both conventional and technological, to the fullest extent, allowing the audience to perceive and feel the performance from every angle. The vast stage, spanning thousands of square meters on the harbor, featured constantly moving props—not only large in size, like realistic ships and containers, but also simulating shipbuilding machinery—overwhelming the audience, eliciting continuous applause and surprised exclamations. The entire stage also transported the audience to the set of a historical blockbuster, stimulating all their senses. Moreover, the seamless combination of complex stage settings—sometimes on the harbor, sometimes on the river, sometimes on a ship—continuously creates astonishing surprises for the audience, leaving them constantly expressing their admiration and awe.
