The closing ceremony of the Ninh Binh Festival 2024 concluded impressively with the "Í A Fest" electronic folk music festival, held on November 30th in the picturesque setting of Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area, Ninh Binh province. The program attracted thousands of spectators from across the country and international tourists, creating a musical feast that blended tradition and modernity.
Over 5,000 visitors attended the closing ceremony of the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival in 2024.
The program was staged in an open space amidst majestic mountains, with the highlight being a large stage built on a lake. As the theme of the closing ceremony suggested, “Í A Fest” immersed the audience in the unique cultural and artistic atmosphere of the three regions of Vietnam – North, Central, and South – through three emotionally charged chapters.
Chapter 1 – “Í A” is imbued with the artistic essence of Northern Vietnam, allowing the audience to relive familiar hometown atmospheres through classic folk works such as: “Trống cơm”, “Chờ chàng”, “Cò lả”, “Ngồi tựa mạn thuyền”… The smooth, profound melodies recreate the rich cultural life of the Red River Delta region.

Singer Yen Le delivered a powerful vocal performance with the songs "Co La" and "Ngoi Tua Man Thuyen".”
Moving to the colorful highlands of Northwest Vietnam, Chapter 2, "Inh La," vividly portrays the mountain and forest culture through unique performances such as: "The Hmong custom of wife abduction," "Inh La Oi," "A Loi," etc. The free-spirited, wild music, blended with modern elements, creates a truly impressive artistic space.

Rapper Double2T delivers a performance with a distinct Northwestern Vietnamese flavor through "À Lôi" and "Người miền núi chất" (A True Mountain Person).“
Chapter 3 – “Ho O” takes the audience to Central and Southern Vietnam with the sweet, familiar melodies of works such as: “The Mat Seller’s Love,” “The Black Horse Song”… The fluidity in each verse, combined with the breath of contemporary music, recreates the rhythm of river life and the optimistic spirit of the people of Central and Southern Vietnam.
