On November 22, 2023, the 6th Annual Forum took place at the Daewoo Hotel in Hanoi, with the participation of over 170 senior leaders from state management agencies, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and Board Members from listed companies, public companies, state-owned companies, multinational corporations, and large private economic groups.
The Annual Forum (AF) is VIOD's most prestigious professional event of the year, aimed at the Corporate Governance professional community; a platform for integrating expertise, experience, and solutions on top-priority topics in corporate governance. This year's forum is technically supported by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and sponsored by the Swiss Federal Department for Economic Affairs (SECO).
With the theme "Unleashing Green Finance and Green Governance," the 6th Annual Forum (AF6) in 2023 provides a space and opportunity for entrepreneurs, business leaders, and managers to meet, where speakers and participants can engage in in-depth professional discussions on the topic. Experts will discuss the practical value of E&S (Environmental and Social) Governance in unleashing green finance and how to implement it based on each company's vision and unique characteristics.

A new highlight of AF6 2023 is the Board of Directors of the Year (BOTY) Award. Held for the first time in Vietnam, BOTY will select and honor the most outstanding Boards of Directors, where leaders demonstrate competence through strategic vision, leading businesses to success with professionalism and efficiency, optimizing shareholder value, and practicing good corporate governance. The award criteria focus on the quality of E&S governance, recognizing Boards of Directors that prioritize three elements: G (Generation), I (Independent), and G (Gender).
VIOD recognizes and honors outstanding Boards of Directors that meet rigorous evaluation criteria, surpassing over 500 other listed companies' Boards of Directors in the Vietnamese market. Five Boards of Directors were selected: Vinamilk Joint Stock Company, PNJ Joint Stock Company, PAN Group Joint Stock Company, Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company, and Century Fiber Joint Stock Company.
